Dear CEO Supporters,
As we head into Memorial Day weekend, all of us at the Center for Equal Opportunity join you in pausing to honor and remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice to defend our nation, our freedom, and the constitutional principles we hold dear.
It is in that very spirit of preserving America’s founding principles that we look to the future of our movement. As CEO continues its critical work defending colorblind equal opportunity and merit-based public policy, strengthening our legal pipeline remains a top priority.
Today, we are thrilled to introduce the newest addition to our team, Law Clerk Anne-Marie Issa. She is able to join us with the support of The Fund for American Studies.
Anne-Marie joins us ahead of her second year at the Florida International University College of Law. The eldest daughter of Lebanese Maronite immigrants, she brings a deep, lifelong passion for America’s First Principles and the Constitution. Her commitment to our mission is driven by a firm belief that equal opportunity for all—regardless of race, religion, or political background—is essential to preserving individual human dignity.
Anne-Marie stands out not only for her academic dedication but also for her extensive track record of frontline leadership. While earning her undergraduate and master’s degrees from the University of Miami, she served as First Vice Chair of the Florida Federation of College Republicans and President of Students for Life Miami. She has also gained valuable legal experience firsthand, completing a judicial externship with the Honorable Bronwyn C. Miller of the Florida Third District Court of Appeal and working full-time as a grassroots coordinator.
At CEO, Anne-Marie will be applying her talents directly to some of our most vital investigative work, including looking into the rise of divisive Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) requirements within the medical field.
For over 30 years, CEO has built the legal and intellectual foundation necessary to challenge race-conscious policies and uphold foundational American principles. Exceptional rising talents like Anne-Marie are the future of this movement. She will be working closely with our legal team to help ensure that our laws protect individual rights, merit-based opportunity, and medical professionalism for the next generation.
Please join us in giving Anne-Marie a warm welcome to the CEO family!
We wish you and your loved ones a meaningful and safe Memorial Day weekend.
Sincerely,
The Center for Equal Opportunity Team
