Rick Kahlenberg Leads CEO Session on Post-SFFA Educational Policy

We were honored to have Richard D. Kahlenberg, Director of the American Identity Project at PPI, lead a specialized CEO Civil Rights Fellowship session titled “Rethinking Admissions & Diversity: Educational Policy Post-SFFA.”

Rick Kahlenberg is widely regarded as one of the country’s foremost experts on education policy, affirmative action, and civil rights. Described as “the intellectual father of economic affirmative action,” Kahlenberg served as an expert witness in the SFFA v. Harvard litigation, where his research on class-based alternatives to race-conscious admissions played a central role in exposing the mechanics of university admissions practices.

Author of numerous influential books – including The Remedy: Class, Race, and Affirmative Action and Class-Conscious Affirmative Action – Kahlenberg brought decades of scholarship directly to our fellows. During the session, he provided an insider’s analysis of the decision and evaluated how universities are navigating compliance post-SFFA.
